Scissura Backs Mayor’s Nominee for Critical Role in Zoning, Housing

"Mayor Mamdani's nomination of John Mangin to serve as Chair of the Board of Standards and Appeals (BSA) should be a no-brainer.

As Director of the Housing Division at the Department of City Planning, he helped spearhead the City of Yes for Housing Opportunity plan, and knows the ins and outs of city government like few others.

We hope the City Council will soon discover what we already know - John is the right person for the job - and swiftly confirm his appointment.
