Rep. Jasmine Crockett Calls on Vice President Vance, Cabinet to Invoke the 25th Amendment

Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) sent a letter to Vice President JD Vance calling on him, along with the President's Cabinet, to invoke Section Four of the Twenty-Fifth Amendment and declare President Donald Trump unfit to serve.

In the letter, Rep. Crockett writes that it has become "indisputably apparent to the American public that the President is deranged, likely suffering from dementia," and warns that he has brought the United States "to the precipice of committing one of the largest war crimes in modern history."

Rep. Crockett further condemns Republican leadership for enabling the President's actions, calling their complicity "among America's greatest scandals," as the administration continues to push the country toward "forever wars in the Middle East while ravaging the American economy and defiling the Constitution."

The letter also argues that the President's conduct is "not simply unbecoming of the Office, but criminal in nature," noting that "the immunity granted by the Supreme Court has exacerbated his apparent fetish for illegality."

Rep. Crockett urges Vice President Vance, the Cabinet, and Congress to act immediately, writing that "it is long overdue" to invoke the Twenty-Fifth Amendment.

She further warns that the United States now stands at a critical crossroads, as "the world awaits whether America will brazenly commit genocide or whether the Vice President, the Cabinet, and the Congress will put an end to the chaos caused by a frail and likely demented American president."

Rep. Crockett concludes by emphasizing that "the country and the Constitution remain in jeopardy with each passing day Donald Trump is President of the United States."
