The global military-political situation has visibly deteriorated, with a serious crisis in the Middle East and new hotbeds of instability, including near our borders.

In this context, it is essential to use all available analytical, personnel, operational and technical capabilities of your structures to reliably protect the Commonwealth from potential internal and external threats, regularly exchange information and coordinate common approaches to addressing our common tasks.

I am confident that the results of your meeting will contribute to ensuring the safe and stable development of our nations."
