Davey Appoints Greenwell to Vice President, Health & Safety
Kent, Ohio - The Davey Tree Expert Company is proud to announce the appointment of Stacey Greenwell to vice president, health & safety.
"This appointment illustrates the trust Stacey has earned across the organization and the strength she relentlessly brings to protecting our people in the field," said Greg Ina, executive vice president, Davey Institute and Employee Development. "Stacey's deep understanding of risk, compliance and field operations, combined with her commitment to employee safety, makes her an excellent choice to lead our Health & Safety team alongside Phil Snyder."
Greenwell joined Davey in 2018 in the legal department as corporate counsel. She was promoted to associate general counsel, director of claims in 2021 and to vice president of health & safety risk and compliance, associate general counsel in January 2026. Prior to Davey, Stacey spent more than a decade at Thompson Hine, LLP, where she supported Davey's corporate safety program as outside counsel.
In 2004, Greenwell earned her law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. She earned her bachelor's degree from Baldwin Wallace in 2001.
Greenwell is a member of the Ohio Bar, the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. She has also volunteered as a loaned executive for United Way of Greater Cleveland.
