Rancho Cordova Leads the Region in New Home Sales

Rancho Cordova continues to shine as one of the Sacramento region's most dynamic and fast-growing communities-recognized not only for its welcoming neighborhoods and business opportunities, but now also as the region's top city for new home sales.

According to the North State Building Industry Association's (BIA) latest report, Rancho Cordova led all submarkets in August 2025 with 91 new homes sold, the highest total in the region. In all, 496 new homes sales were reported by members of the North State BIA, across the eight-county Sacramento area.

Rancho Cordova's continued growth is fueled by thoughtful city planning and a commitment to creating vibrant, connected neighborhoods. Builders and buyers alike are drawn to the city's mix of opportunity and livability-from new housing choices to the parks, schools, and community spaces that make Rancho Cordova such a great place to call home.

Rancho Cordova something offers for everyone. The city's diverse and welcoming community enjoys miles of trails and the American River Parkway, exciting annual events like the California Capital Airshow and the Rancho Cordova Fourth of July Celebration, along with year-round recreation and cultural activities that bring neighbors together.

With more than 3,500 businesses, a strong and growing workforce of 65,000, and industries ranging from health care and clean energy to technology and manufacturing, Rancho Cordova continues to balance residential growth with economic opportunity.

As new homes rise and new families move in, Rancho Cordova continues to build on its promise of being a city where everyone belongs and has the opportunity to thrive. From innovative public safety programs to investments in green space and infrastructure, the city is working every day to ensure its growth remains purposeful and resident centered.

"Rancho Cordova's growth reflects the incredible energy and spirit of our community," said Mayor Siri Pulipati. "We're not just building houses-we're building a city where people feel connected, welcomed, and proud to call Rancho Cordova home."

With strong growth, a thriving housing market, and a commitment to maintaining a high quality of life, Rancho Cordova is not just leading the region-it's setting the standard for what's possible when a community grows together.
