Juneau residents are invited to "Town Hall: Fostering Safety, Dignity, and Human Rights" to explore the barriers and inequities experienced by local LGBTQ+, Alaska Native, and at-risk individuals. The event is hosted by the Juneau Human Rights Commission this Friday, April 10 at 5:30 p.m. in the University of Alaska Southeast Egan Lecture Hall.
Participants will listen to a panel of local experts emceed by Dr. Judi Brown Clarke, the Vice President for Equity and Inclusion for Stony Brook University in New York, and identify opportunities to improve equity and belonging in Juneau. No RSVP is required - come learn and be a part of meaningful discussions for the Juneau community.
