Sign up for National Night Out
Lewisville residents are encouraged to sign up for National Night Out, which will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 5:30-9 p.m.
By registering an event, a neighborhood's block party may receive special visits from members of the Lewisville City Council, Lewisville Police Department, Lewisville Fire Department, and other City representatives. LPD and LFD love participating. Kids can usually tour a police cruiser or fire truck and get junior badge stickers.
Online registration is happening right now. The deadline to register is Thursday, Oct. 1, at 5 p.m.
Registered events will be entered into a drawing to have the Rock the Block trailer at their event. The trailer brings easy music, tables, and games.
No Funds? Consider applying for a Love Your Block grant to reimburse costs up to $250 including food and decorations. Apartment and Mobile Homes can also apply for funding through this program application for National Night Out. Email Grants Specialist Bryan McBreen by email at b[email protected] for details.
