Pikes Peak AdAmAn VIP Fireworks Event offers exclusive New Year’s Eve experience on the mountain

Residents and visitors have a rare opportunity to welcome the New Year from one of Colorado's most iconic settings during the Pikes Peak AdAmAn VIP Fireworks Event, taking place late Wednesday, Dec. 31.

The family-friendly celebration offers exclusive nighttime access to the North Slope Recreation Area and Crystal Reservoir, providing a view of the historic AdAmAn New Year's Eve fireworks with the backdrop of the reservoir.

Beginning at 10:30 p.m., guests will be led by Pikes Peak Ranger staff to the Crystal Reservoir Visitor Center parking area at mile 6 on the Pikes Peak Highway, ensuring a safe and guided arrival. From there, attendees can enjoy designated outdoor viewing areas to watch the fireworks illuminate the alpine sky, weather permitting, while surrounded by sweeping mountain views and star-filled skies.

In addition to the fireworks display, the evening includes fireside chats with AdAmAn members Nick Baki and Dave Hunting, along with warm drinks and food options available for purchase. Souvenirs will also be available, making the event a memorable way for families and friends to celebrate the transition into the New Year.

Timed-entry permits are required in addition to event tickets, with 70 permits available at $2 each.

• $20 for adults ages 16 and older
• $10 for children ages 6 to 15
• Free for children 5 and under
• Carload rate of $70 for up to five passengers.

No sales will be available at the entrance.

To help protect Crystal Reservoir, local wildlife, and the surrounding environment, all guests are required to follow event rules and regulations. Alcohol, drugs, fireworks, drones, and off-leash pets are not permitted, and viewing is limited to designated areas only.
