New to State Contracting? Join us for an upcoming workshop

Local business owners will soon have a chance to get hands-on with the essentials of working with the State of California.

Join us at the Roseville Venture Lab for an in-person Doing Business with the State workshop on Monday, March 16, from noon to 1:30 p.m.

This lunchtime session is designed for entrepreneurs who are new to state contracting or looking for a quick refresher. You'll learn how to get certified as a Small Business or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise and how to begin offering your products or services to the state.

Participants will learn the fundamentals in a simple, approachable format. The workshop includes clear guidance on where to find contracting opportunities, how the state purchasing process works, and what you can do right away to get started. A short Q&A will follow the main presentation.

Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.

Supported by the City of Roseville, this workshop is part of our ongoing effort to help local businesses grow, compete, and access new opportunities in the public sector.
