Drain line work to close single southbound lane on Honoapi'ilani Highway

KAHULUI, Hawai'i - The Hawai'i Department of Transportation (HDOT) informs the public that one southbound lane on Honoapi'ilani Highway (Route 30) will be closed 24/7 for drain line work beginning at 7 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 17. The closure is between Dickenson Street and Prison Street.

A reminder, one northbound lane between Prison Street and Dickenson Street continues to be closed 24/7 for the project. One southbound lane and one northbound lane remain open for through traffic.

The 24/7 closures for the northbound and southbound lanes are anticipated to last at least two weeks. The lanes will be reopened following paving of the area.
