Avangrid recognised by the Edison Electric Institute (EEI) for its relief efforts following Hurricane Helene

Avangrid, the US subsidiary of the Iberdrola Group, has been recognised for its outstanding relief efforts following Hurricane Helene. Its distribution companies - Central Maine Power (CMP), New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG), Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E), and United Illuminating (UI) - have received the Emergency Response Award from the Edison Electric Institute (EEI).

The Emergency Response Awards are presented twice a year to EEI member companies in recognition of their recovery and assistance efforts following service disruptions caused by extreme weather or other natural events.

Avangrid remains committed to investing in advanced technologies and strategic partnerships to enhance grid security, modernise infrastructure, and support the nation's energy independence.
