HARRISBURG - State Rep. Sheryl M. Delozier (R-Cumberland) is hosting a public safety event, including child car seat safety checks and damaged license plate replacements, for residents of the 88th District on Thursday, Sept. 25, from 4-7 p.m., at Platinum Mitsubishi, located at 6039 Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg.
"Having a properly installed car seat can dramatically reduce the risk of death among children in car accidents - 71% for infants and 54% for toddlers," said Delozier. "My car seat safety check provides a critically important safety service and damaged license plate replacements keep drivers in compliance with state law.
"I hope many constituents will take advantage of these free services as we work to enhance public safety within the community. I also appreciate the willingness of our certified car seat technicians and local law enforcement officers in facilitating this event," said Delozier.
Individuals planning to participate in the damaged license plate replacement portion of the event will need to bring their unexpired Pennsylvania driver's license and current vehicle registration.
RSVPs are required for this event. Please call Delozier's office at 717-761-4665 or visit www.RepDelozier.com/Events. Participants should specify which service(s) they plan to utilize when they RSVP.
