Mercyhealth welcomes board certified internal medicine doctor

Mercyhealth is pleased to welcome Michele Newquist, MD, board certified internal medicine doctor, to the staff at Mercyhealth Evansville, 300 Union St., Evansville.

Dr. Newquist strives for strong communication with her patients and their families. "My philosophy of care is to listen carefully and understand the complex needs of my patients as they age," she said. "Many patients see multiple specialists, making coordination of care essential to their overall well-being. I prioritize clear communication with family members to ensure every voice is heard."

After earning her medical degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria, Peoria, Illinois, Dr. Newquist served a residency at Legacy Emanuel and Good Samaritan Hospitals in Portland, OR. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
