TFD Responds to Residential Structure Fire on W. W. Kelley Road

On Tuesday, March 18, at approximately 12:52 p.m., the Tallahassee Fire Department (TFD) was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire on W. W. Kelley Road.
Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy fire coming from a double-wide mobile home. Crews immediately deployed hose lines and initiated fire suppression operations to control the fire.
The structure was occupied at the time of the incident. One victim was located inside the residence, removed by firefighters and transported from the scene by Leon County EMS.
TFD was assisted on scene by the Leon County Sheriff's Office, Leon County EMS, Talquin Electric Cooperative, the Chaires-Capitola Volunteer Fire Department and the State Fire Marshal's Office.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the State Fire Marshal.
