Inseason Action #16 in Ocean Salmon Fisheries, South of Cape Falcon (California Commercial)

NOAA Fisheries has taken inseason action in the commercial salmon fishery south of Cape Falcon.

Inseason #16:

Effective August 13, 2026, at 12:01 a.m., for commercial ocean salmon troll fisheries scheduled to occur prior to September 1, 2026, between Point Arena and the United States/Mexico border, the landing and possession limit is 65 Chinook salmon per vessel per open period.
