HONOLULU, HAWAII
September 10th, 2025
Bank of Hawaii is pleased to be named on a national ranking of "America's Most Admired Workplaces 2026" by Newsweek, and is the local bank to appear on the list.
A total of 750 companies across dozens of industries are recognized, taking into consideration inspirational and aspirational factors and overall company performance. Newsweek and Plant-A Insights partnered to interview over 400,000 employees in the United States through a large-scale comprehensive online survey to review employers in detail and collected over 4.9 million comprehensive company reviews.
More than 224,000 of the interviewed employees also answered: "For which employer would you love to work?" Interviewed employees could choose their current employer (inspirational factor) and companies they admire and would love to work for in the future (aspirational factor).
"We're honored to have earned this national recognition that centers on the satisfaction of our current teammates and the sentiment of prospective employees," said Bank of Hawaii Chief People Officer Sharlene Ginoza-Lee. "Our company's culture is something we build together every day, and it's heartening to know our employees see Bank of Hawaii as a workplace of opportunity and growth."
