I-5/SR-54 Connectors Closed Evenings September 2 to 4

San Diego - Caltrans maintenance crews will close the westbound State Route 54 (SR-54) to southbound Interstate 5 (I-5) and the southbound I-5 to eastbound SR-54 connector in the evenings from Tuesday, September 2 to Thursday, September 4 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. for the installation of broadband infrastructure.

Westbound SR-54 motorists may connect to northbound I-5, take the Mile of Cars Way/Bay Marina Drive offramp, and turn left to the on-ramp to southbound I-5.

Southbound I-5 motorists may take the E Street Boulevard off-ramp, turn left to access the northbound I-5 on-ramp, and then connect to SR-54.

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
