The Greater Newton Area Chamber of Commerce shared several business updates and upcoming events. John Lee Photography celebrated the grand opening of its new studio at 207 1st Ave W with a ribbon cutting. Owner John Lee thanked the many people who helped bring the new space to life and expressed appreciation to all who attended or sent kind wishes.
JDH Inspection Services will host a ribbon cutting and grand opening on Thursday, April 10 at 4 p.m. at Legacy Plaza, Office #335. Community members are invited to learn more about the business while enjoying snacks and refreshments.
Open Arms Jasper County is holding its Annual Breakfast Buffet Fundraiser on Saturday, April 12 from 7 to 9 a.m. at the Newton Masonic Lodge. The event supports local children and families and helps launch efforts to bring a Safe Haven Baby Box to Jasper County. The all-you-can-eat breakfast is $10 for adults and $3 for kids.
TurnKey Realty is opening a Newton location and will host a ribbon cutting and open house on Thursday, April 17 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 104 1st St N. The ribbon cutting will take place at noon. Community members are invited to meet the team and explore the new office.
Finally, the Chamber welcomed Cobblestone Inn & Suites as one of its newest members. Located off I-80 near the Iowa Speedway, the dog-friendly hotel offers clean rooms, breakfast, and meeting space.
