'Winds of Change' concert coming to Pembina State Museum

PEMBINA, N.D. - The world-renowned New York Kammermusiker wind ensemble is coming to the Pembina State Museum for a special free performance on Thursday, Aug. 8. The "Winds of Change" concert will take place in the museum lobby and begins at 12:30 p.m. The performers invite attendees to arrive early for a meet-and-greet starting at 11:30 a.m.

The New York Kammermusiker is returning to North Dakota for the group's 18th annual concert series. They will perform Renaissance, Baroque, and contemporary classical music, along with original compositions arranged specifically for this event. Formed in 1969 by North Dakota native Ilonna Pederson, this non-profit organization seeks to reintroduce the instruments and music of the double reed ensemble to modern audiences.
