Three-week comment period runs now through June 9. In-person public meeting June 2.
JEFFERSON CITY , M o - The Missouri Department of Transportation is seeking community feedback on 2027 plans to rehabilitate the Moniteau County Route T bridge over Burris Fork Creek , south of California . In order to ex tend the life of the 66-year-old bridge so it can continue to serve the roughly 500 motorists who cross it on an average day , the expansion joint needs replaced and the supporting structure requires repair work .
Community input is essential to help guide the design and construction process . C ommenting, questioning, and providing insight is open during the in-person meeting and the three-week comment period .
An open-house style public meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 2 , at the California City Hall located at 500 S . Oak Street in California, Missouri . Attendees may come and go as they please at any time from 4:30 to 6 p.m., as there will be no formal presentation. The project team will be on hand to answer questions, provide information, and receive input about the project. The meeting exhibits ar e available online.
In addition to the public meeting, there will be a t hree -week comment period running M ay 19 - June 9 . Input can be submitted online through a form on the project webpage, emailed to [email protected] , or mailed to Route T Bridge Rehabilitation over Burris Fork Creek in Moniteau County , c/o MoDOT, 1511 Missouri Boulevard, Jefferson City, MO, 65102. All comments must be received or postmarked by June 9 .
