Credit Union Earns Great Place to Work Certification for Eighth Year

EXTON, Pa., October 21, 2026 - Citadel Credit Union has earned Great Place To Work Certification™ for the eighth year, reaffirming its commitment to a culture where employees feel supported, connected, and proud to belong. Based on confidential employee feedback, this year's results show that 85% of employees say Citadel is a great place to work, compared with 57% at a typical U.S.-based company.

"This recognition belongs to our employees," said Bill Brown, President and CEO of Citadel Credit Union. "They bring our purpose to life in the way they care for our members, support one another, and show up for our communities. As Citadel grows, we have a responsibility to ensure our employees can grow with us, with opportunities to contribute, build their careers, and see the difference their work makes."

Citadel's Great Place To Work survey results highlight a culture rooted in respect, care, and community impact:

  • Safety: 98% of employees said Citadel is a physically safe place to work.
  • Fairness & Inclusion: More than 90% of employees said people are treated fairly regardless of age, race, gender, or sexual orientation.
  • Community Impact: 93% said they feel good about the ways Citadel contributes to the community.

Employees also highlighted Citadel's people-first culture, its commitment to serving members and local communities, and leaders who care about employees' growth and success.

"A great employee experience is built through everyday moments: feeling welcomed, knowing your contributions matter, and having someone invested in your success," said Bonnie Levitt, Chief People and Culture Officer at Citadel. "We're proud of what our employees value about working here, and their feedback also shows us where we can do better. Listening and acting on both is how we continue to strengthen our culture."

At Citadel, employees are supported through programs that promote well-being, professional growth, recognition, and community involvement. Wellness initiatives, leave programs, and employee recognition opportunities help support employees throughout their careers. Through Citadel Cares, team members also participate in volunteerism and philanthropy focused on four key pillars: financial literacy, education, community and economic development, and health and wellness.

Together, these commitments connect the employee experience to Citadel's broader mission of helping families, businesses, and communities build financial strength.
