Secretary-General of ASEAN to participate in the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Phnom Penh Logistics Complex in the Kingdom of Cambodia
At the invitation of Dr. Robert Yap, Executive Chairman of YCH Group, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary-General of ASEAN, will participate in the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Phnom Penh Logistics Complex (PPLC), in Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia, on 31 August 2026, where he will deliver a Special Address.
The PPLC is a joint initiative involving Singapore's YCH Group and Cambodia's WorldBridge Group, and forms part of ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC)'s Smart Growth Connect and ASEAN Smart Logistics Network agenda. As the second SuperPort under this platform, following the Vietnam SuperPort, the PPLC is expected to strengthen regional logistics integration, multimodal connectivity, supply chain resilience, and trade facilitation across ASEAN.
The event will be attended by high-ranking officials from the Royal Government of Cambodia, YCH Group, WorldBridge Group, ASEAN-BAC, as well as other partners.
