Governor Ron DeSantis Reappoints Two to the Florida Prepaid College Board

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the reappointment of Slater Bayliss and Adria Starkey to the Florida Prepaid College Board.

Slater Bayliss

Bayliss is a Co-founder of The Advocacy Partners and a Part-time Adjunct Professor at Florida State University. Active in his community, he has served on the Military Service Academy Nominating Commission, the Florida Sports Foundation, and the Tree House of Tallahassee Board of Directors. Bayliss earned his bachelor's degree in political science and communications from the University of Iowa and his master's degree in applied American policy and politics from Florida State University.

Adria Starkey

Starkey is the Collier County President of FineMark Bank and Trust Company. Active in her community, she currently serves as a member of the Florida Gulf Coast University School of Entrepreneurship Advisory Board and is a member of the Naples Children and Educational Foundation Board of Trustees. Starkey earned her bachelor's degree in business finance from the University of Florida.

These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
