October 21 - Determination of Sufficiency for Amendment 87 Affirmed by District Court
Denver, October 21, 2026 - Today, the Denver District Court confirmed the Department's determination that Proposition 195 obtained sufficient signatures to be placed on the 2026 General Election ballot.
Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold has issued the following statement:
"We appreciate the Court's careful consideration of this matter, and look forward to voters making their voices heard on this question. My office will continue to uphold Colorado law and ensure Coloradans can cast their vote on any measure that is qualified to the ballot."
Proposition 195 was certified to the ballot as Amendment 87. Voters should continue to vote the ballot they were sent.
