Closures on State Routes 99, 108, 120, 132, and Interstate 5

Stanislaus County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures next week on State Route 99 (SR-99), State Route 108 (SR-108), State Route 120 (SR-120), State Route 132 (SR-132), and Interstate 5 (I-5). Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

Interstate 5

• Full closure of southbound I-5 at Ingram Creek Road in Westley for bridge work from 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4, until 4:00 a.m. on Monday, October 7, 2024
  Detour Information:
• • Travelers on Southbound I-5 exit southbound State Route 33 > southbound Rogers Road > westbound Sperry Ave. > return to southbound I-5.
  • Travelers on Eastbound I-580 continue to southbound I-5 > diverted off I-5 at Ingram Creek Road, where the on and offramps will be used as a single lane.
• Full, long-term closures of the northbound and southbound Westley Safety Roadside Rest Areas on I-5 for construction work.
  Note: This project is expected to continue through the fall of 2025.

State Route 99

• Overnight, full closure of the offramp to Hatch Road from southbound SR-99 in Ceres for bridge work beginning Sunday, October 6 through Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
• Overnight, full closure of the offramp to Mitchell Road from northbound SR-99 in Ceres for bridge work beginning Sunday, October 6 through Friday, October 11, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
• Overnight, full closure of the offramp to Tuolumne Boulevard from northbound SR-99 in Modesto for bridge work beginning Sunday, October 6 through Friday, October 11, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
• Moving lane closures on southbound SR-99 from the Merced County Line to Hatch Road for a sweeping operation beginning Tuesday, October 8 through Friday, October 11, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

State Route 108

• Overnight, one-way traffic control between Santa Fe Street and Topeka Street in Riverbank for excavation work beginning Sunday, October 6 through Friday, October 11, 2024, from 8:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m.

State Route 120

• Overnight, one-way traffic control between Stearns Road and Dillwood Road in Oakdale for drainage work beginning Wednesday, October 9 through Friday, October 11, 2024, from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

State Route 132

• Overnight, alternating lane closures on eastbound and westbound SR-132 between the Tuolumne River near La Grange and Quartz Ledge Creek bridge for bridge work beginning Sunday, October 6 through Friday, October 11, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
