Peoria County is inviting the public to review and comment on its updated Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan. Public comments will be accepted through January 31, 2026.
The ADA Transition Plan helps identify accessibility needs across Peoria County. It looks at things such as access in and around County buildings and standards for roads and sidewalks. The plan also outlines steps the County may take to improve accessibility where barriers are identified.
Federal law requires local governments to review and update this plan every 10 years.
