County Offices and Facilities Closed for Veterans Day
Marion County government offices will be closed Tuesday, Nov. 11, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday.
Marion County departments and facilities open normal hours through the Veterans Day holiday include:
- Marion County Solid Waste Baseline Transfer Station
- Marion County Parks & Recreation facilities will be open from sunrise to sunset throughout the holiday.
- Marion County Animal Control continues to be available 24/7 at 352-732-9111.
- Marion County Fire Rescue and Public Safety Communications will continue to be available 24/7 via 911.
- County administrative offices
- Marion County Animal Services
- Marion County Solid Waste recycling centers
- Parks & Recreation offices
- Public Library System locations
- Solid Waste administrative offices
- Southeastern Livestock Pavilion office
- Forest Community Center
- Marion Oaks Community Center
- Rainbow Lakes Community Center
- Silver Springs Shores Community Center
All county offices and facilities will resume normal operations on Wednesday, Nov. 12.
