305Day at MIA: A cafecito celebration for our dedicated team

In celebration of 305Day and Employee Appreciation Week, the Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD) provided free cafecitos and Miami-style treats to its employees at Miami International Airport all on behalf of Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, the Board of County Commissioners, and MIA leadership.

Two mobile ventanita coffee stands from La Cafeteria offered a free colada or cortadito, and La Carreta served free coffee, croquetas and pastelitos to MDAD employees. In recognition of their dedication to serving more than 55 million passengers annually at the gateway to the 305. At 3:05 p.m. the ventanitas let out plumes of steam from the top of the giant cafeterias. In true 305 style.
