Swimming and Diving Wins the NJIT Invite for the Third Straight Season

The NJIT swimming and diving won the NJIT Invite for the third straight season, finishing with 1,121 points on Saturday at the Joel and Diane Bloom Wellness and Events Center (BWEC).

Howard placed second with 859.5 points, followed by Villanova (849.5) and Saint Peter's (382).

won the 100 butterfly with a time of 49.36, which is the fourth-best in program history. He also won the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:50.32, the second-fastest in school history.

claimed the victory in the 100 backstroke with a time of 50.24, which is the sixth-best in school history. He added another win in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:50.27, which also ranks sixth in program history.

won the 1-meter dive with a score of 192.23.

Cellar, Borys Endle, Waild, and won the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:23.31.

Coppola won the 100 freestyle with a time of 46.36.

In the 400 freestyle relay, , Walid, and Coppola posted a winning time of 3:04.64.
