Larson and House Vote to Name Parts of Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park After the Late Rep. Bill Pascrell

Washington, D.C. - Today, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) released the following statement after the House voted to pass H.R. 249to name parts of Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park after his late friend and colleague, Rep. Bill Pascrell.

"My late friend and colleague, Rep. Bill Pascrell, dedicated his life to serving Paterson, in the New Jersey General Assembly, as Mayor, and in Congress for nearly three decades," said Larson. "It is only fitting that the National Park he fought for bear his name. I miss my friend every day. There won't ever be anyone else like him. He fought so hard to support not only the people of Paterson but our veterans, seniors, first responders, and anyone who ever crossed his path. With today's vote, we are rightfully honoring his legacy of public service and hard work."
