Christmas Tree Recycling Starts Dec 26

The City of Nampa is pleased to announce its annual Christmas Tree Recycling Program, which will be in effect from Friday, December 26, 2025, through Friday, January 16, 2026. Residents are encouraged to participate in this environmentally friendly initiative by dropping off their holiday trees* for recycling.

Trees can be dropped off at Kohlerlawn Cemetery, located at 76 6th Street North, any day of the week from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. To ensure a smooth drop-off process, residents are asked to follow the directional signs on Weamer Lane leading to the compost site within the cemetery.

To facilitate the recycling process, please ensure all trees are free of stands, lights and any ornamentation. Once collected, the trees will be converted into mulch, which will be utilized throughout Nampa's parks and trails, promoting sustainability and enhancing our community's natural spaces.

For additional information, please contact the Parks Department at 208-468-5890.

* As a reminder, artificial/plastic trees will not be accepted.
