Cooperation with ITF Enhancing Human Security: humanitarian projects in 2025-2026

The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia and the ITF Enhancing Human Security have signed a contract for humanitarian activities in 2025 and 2026. The projects will focus on improving the living conditions of people affected by armed conflicts and their consequences.

The projects, which are being implemented in cooperation with the ITF in Afghanistan, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iraq, Lebanon, Moldova, Syria and Ukraine, will focus particularly on populations in crisis and post-conflict areas. The total value of the 14 projects for the 2025-2026 period is 4,184.00 euros. They will contribute to the strengthening of medical and psychosocial care for children and mothers in Armenia, supporting refugees, demining and assisting mine victims in Ukraine and Lebanon, providing integral humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people and supporting the health clinic in Afghanistan.

By signing the contract, Slovenia is continuing to fulfil its commitments, contributing to increased human security and actively participating in mitigating the consequences of armed conflicts and strengthening the conditions for lasting peace.
