Amador County

One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

Amador County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various lane closures on State Route 26 (SR-26) and SR-49 for maintenance and construction operations. Work to occur as follows:

State Route 26

  • Long-term, one-way traffic control from Amador/Calaveras County Line to North Fork Mokelumne River Bridge for tree work on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

State Route 49

  • Long-term, one-way traffic control at the Mokelumne River Bridge (Amador/Calaveras County line) for bridge work beginning February 15, 2024, through Friday, January 31, 2025, at 12:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
