Plan Ahead for FourthFest: Parking Information and Event Schedule Released

July 2, 2026

As the City of Norman prepares to celebrate Independence Day with its annual FourthFest celebration on Saturday, July 4, attendees are encouraged to plan ahead by reviewing available parking options and the event schedule before arriving at Reaves Park.

Public parking will be available at Lloyd Noble Center, 2900 S Jenkins Ave, with convenient access to the celebration at Reaves Park, 2501 S Jenkins Ave.

Additional public parking at Reaves Park includes:

  • The south parking lot along Constitution Street
  • The west parking lot adjacent to the Veterans Memorial
  • Two parking lots along Jenkins Avenue
  • The north parking area near the baseball fields along Timberdell Road

Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, allow extra travel time, and follow posted signage and directions from event staff when entering and exiting parking areas.

FourthFest festivities begin at 5 p.m. and feature an evening of live music, family activities and patriotic celebrations before the annual fireworks show. Learn more about the festivities at Normanok.gov/Norman250.

  • 5:00 p.m. - Event Begins
  • 5:15-6:00 p.m. - Logan Mac
  • 6:00 p.m. - Fire Hydrant Spray & Bike Rack Dedication (next to the Veterans Memorial)
  • 6:05 p.m. - God Bless America performed by Shirley Franklin
  • 6:07 p.m. - Line Dancing
  • 6:30-7:15 p.m. - Tyler Halverson
  • 7:00 p.m. - Fire Hydrant Spray
  • 7:32 p.m. - Welcome from Mayor Stephen Tyler Holman
  • 7:45 p.m. - Reading of the Preamble by Sooner Theatre
  • 7:55 p.m. - National Anthem performed by Alli Dorris, accompanied by daytime fireworks
  • 8:00-9:45 p.m. - Cody Canada
  • 9:45 p.m. - Fireworks Finale

Residents and visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy an evening of live entertainment, community celebration and one of Norman's favorite Independence Day traditions.
