On March 3, 2026, the Office of Violence Prevention's Safe Blocks program hosted a resource fair at Dawson Park in Portland's Eliot Neighborhood.
The event included:
- Word is Bond;
- Portland Solutions;
- JOIN, Dream Big City;
- Multnomah County Mobile Health Crisis Team;
- Vancouver Avenue First Baptist Church (Saturday Samaritans);
- Urban League of Portland; and
- Multnomah County Health Department.
Resource fairs at Dawson Park are an important collaboration between Safe Blocks and community partners to provide needed resources to the neighborhood and help to reduce gun violence.
