2nd Annual Clarence Muse Art Festival Returns to Perris Depot
PERRIS, Calif. (May 18, 2026) - The City of Perris is proud to support the Perris Valley Historical Museum's 2nd Annual Clarence Muse Art Festival, a family-friendly celebration of art, culture, and community taking place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the historic Perris Depot, located at 120 West Fourth Street in Perris.
The Clarence Muse Art Festival honors the legacy of Clarence Muse - a pioneering actor, musician, writer, and director whose contributions helped shape the entertainment industry and whose roots trace back to Perris. The festival also serves as a fundraising effort toward the purchase of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in honor of Clarence Muse's lasting impact and achievements.
Guests attending the event can enjoy a vibrant day filled with creativity, entertainment, and activities for all ages. The festival will feature community performances, local artists, unique vendors, interactive art experiences, a kid's zone, arts and crafts, live entertainment, food offerings, and a silent auction benefiting the ongoing recognition efforts for Clarence Muse.
"The Clarence Muse Art Festival is a meaningful celebration of art, history, and culture within our community," said Mayor Michael M. Vargas. "Events like this not only highlight local talent and bring families together but also help preserve and honor the legacy of individuals like Clarence Muse, whose story continues to inspire generations."
Hosted at the Perris Depot, the event provides residents and visitors an opportunity to experience one of Perris' historic landmarks while supporting local arts and cultural initiatives. Organizers encourage community members of all ages to attend and participate in this unique celebration.
