TALLAHASSEE, Fla.-Attorney General Ashley Moody is working with the Florida Tax Collectors Association to distribute important voter fraud and crime prevention information. Through this partnership, Floridians will have direct access to Attorney General Moody's resources on fraud detection and crime prevention. Many tax collectors are now displaying Attorney General Moody's Scams at a Glance brochures, Florida's voter fraud hotline, the state's new human trafficking hotline, **TIPS for reporting anonymous crime tips and more.
Attorney General Ashley Moody said, "Floridians heading to their local tax collector office will now have access to resources with important information about voter fraud, consumer scams, human trafficking and more. This way, more Floridians will be equipped with the knowledge needed to avoid falling victim to scams, and they can also help law enforcement solve crimes."
Attorney General Moody first partnered with the FTCA in May 2021 to provide informational materials to Floridians in Alachua, Clay, Duval and Nassau counties. Now, the program is extended statewide.

In August, Attorney General Moody encouraged tax collectors to display information regarding voting-related crimes to Florida's Voter Fraud Hotline-(850) 245-6684-ahead of the 2024 elections. Now, through this expanded partnership, tax collector offices in the state will be able to display materials detailing voter fraud and other crime-prevention initiatives from the Florida Attorney General's Office.
