Promoting the "Asia Innovation Capital (AIC)" Initiative to Expand the Scale of Taiwan's Capital Market
In response to the government's vision of "Innovative Economy, Smart Nation" and the initiative to build Taiwan into an "AI Island," the FSC has directed the TWSE and the TPEx to launch the AIC initiative on 21 October 2025. Through a "dual-engine structure of equity and bond", the initiative introduces 25 enhancement measures covering three major areas and 13 key aspects, aiming to precisely align with industry needs, promote industrial innovation and transformation, and facilitate the listing of enterprises in 14 priority industries under national development policies.
