NEW YORK - Tonight, ICE agents shot a man in a vehicle with his five-year old child in the back seat in Marble Hill, Bronx.
Lisa Rivera, President and CEO of New York Legal Assistance Group, issued the following statement:
"For eighteen months, ICE has terrorized our communities and our country. New York City-home to millions of immigrants-has been an epicenter of violent and cruel immigration enforcement, and tonight ICE escalated by senselessly shooting a man with his child in the backseat. ICE has no place in our streets, in our courts, and in our city. Abolish ICE."
