OBJECTIVES:

  • Knowledge: Understand legal implications involved in giving and withholding feedback.
  • Competence (Abilities & Skills): Learn to evaluate barriers for oneself and the learner in giving and receiving feedback.
  • Medical Practice (Performance): Develop understanding of skills needed to give feedback that ultimately improves patient care.
  • Patient Outcomes: Understand how giving feedback to learners directly impacts care patients recieve.
