NATCA members Master Their Interview Skills in Media Training Class

Feb 17, 2026

Six NATCA members recently traveled to NATCA's National Office to complete a media training course. During the class, participants received both classroom and practical instruction on best practices and strategies for interviews with the media. This included drafting talking points and mock on-camera interviews in NATCA's studio.

After completing the training run by NATCA Public Affairs Director Thom Metzger and Dep. Director Galen Munroe with the assistance of Public Affairs Administrators Kevin White and Jessica Reed, the members are now trained to handle interviews on behalf of the Union.

Congratulations to graduates Hanan Wiseman (Boston Center, A90), Ariel Ortega (Prescott ATCT, PRC), Brittney Armbrust (Colorado Springs ATCT, COS), Pete LeFevre (Dulles ATCT, IAD), Troy Hall (Flight Services Station FAI, FS2), and Ryan Coughlin (Cleveland Center, ZOB).
