ASLA has extended the 2026 Student Awards registration and submission deadlines in response to educator feedback. Here are the updated dates, key eligibility rules, and the submission details students most commonly miss.
ASLA has extended the ASLA 2026 Student Awards deadlines to better align with the academic calendar-giving students more time for reviews, advising, and final production while maintaining the rigor of the awards program.
The ASLA Student Awards recognize compelling student work across design, planning, research, communications, service, and collaboration-honoring ideas that demonstrate design excellence, critical thinking, and a clear understanding of landscape architecture's role in shaping communities and environments.
Student Awards recipients are honored during the ASLA 2026 Conference on Landscape Architecture (Sept 16-18) and announced with coverage in Landscape Architecture Magazine and on ASLA.org. Official entrants receiving Honor Awards or Awards of Excellence receive complimentary conference registration.
