Saudi Telecom, iot², VIZZIO and POLYTRON Bring Spatial AI to the Middle East - Unifying Digital Twins, IoT and Visual Intelligence in an AI-Driven 4D World

The integration and productisation of <<b>WORLD BUILDER and POLYTRON ONE within stc-iot² NUCLEUS brings patented LIVE 3D™ video-scene fusion, Spatial AI and visual intelligence to mission-critical government and enterprise operations across the region.

stc, iot², VIZZIO and POLYTRON Launch LIVE 3D™ for the Middle East, Transforming Static Digital Twins Into Continuously Updated 4D Worlds

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia - September 3, 2026 - stc (Saudi Telecom), iot² (a joint venture between PIF and Saudi Telecom), VIZZIO and POLYTRON today announced the integration and productization of VIZZIO's WORLD BUILDER, a browser-native Digital Twin publishing and editing platform, and POLYTRON ONE, an agentic video management and visual intelligence system, within the stc iot² NUCLEUS platform. The combined offering creates a unified spatial computing environment that brings together high-fidelity exact-replica of the 3D worlds, LIVE 360° video, IoT data and AI agents - transforming conventional Digital Twins into continuously updated, simulation-ready 4D environments for governments, critical infrastructure operators, homeland security, defence and enterprises across the Middle East.

The physical world does not stand still. Its Digital Twin should not either.

Most conventional Digital Twins begin aging the moment they are created. A site is scanned or mapped, and a precise 3D representation is produced. But those 3D assets preserve the environment as it appeared during that capture window. Buildings change. Equipment moves. Roads close. Crowds form. Incidents unfold. Reality continues, while the model remains frozen in time.

VIZZIO and POLYTRON's patented LIVE 3D™ technology changes this relationship between the physical and digital worlds.

LIVE 3D™ spatially maps and stitches live video directly onto the corresponding geometry of the 3D environment. IoT data, camera observations and AI-detected events are anchored to their precise locations within the same scene. Rather than displaying live feeds beside the Digital Twin in separate windows, the live visual state becomes part of the Digital Twin itself.

The result is a 3D scene that evolves as reality unfolds.

Mapping Spaces (Indoor, Outdoor, Street)

Modelling any city on Earth

4D World

By adding time to space, 3D becomes 4D - transforming a historical representation of a place into a continuously updated operational view of what is happening there now.

From a Static Model to a Living Operational World

At the foundation of the integrated offering is WORLD BUILDER, VIZZIO's browser-native Digital Twin platform.

WORLD BUILDER enables buildings, campuses, infrastructure networks and cities to be represented as dimensionally accurate, machine-readable 3D environments. Because the platform runs through a standard web browser, these environments can be accessed across desktops, tablets and mobile devices without specialised workstations, heavyweight game engines or additional software installations.

POLYTRON ONE provides the visual intelligence and security layer. It brings conventional CCTV infrastructure and POLYTRON AI-powered 360° cameras into a unified environment, applying AI across cameras, locations and time to understand people, vehicles, assets, movement and events.

Integrated with stc-iot² NUCLEUS, cameras, IoT sensors, infrastructure assets, alerts and operational systems are no longer presented as disconnected data sources. They become part of a common spatial model in which every observation has a location, surrounding context and relationship to the wider environment.

A Digital Twin can therefore become more than a visualization of infrastructure. It can serve as the operating environment through which infrastructure is monitored, understood, simulated and managed.

Proven Through Mission-Critical Government Adoption

The collaboration between iot² and VIZZIO has already progressed beyond demonstration projects.

The technologies have been piloted across multiple ministries and government agencies, including Digital Twin initiatives for the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Tourism. These deployments are helping public-sector organizations build and strengthen mission-critical systems for operational visibility, infrastructure management, planning, and coordinated decision-making.

This experience has informed the productization of WORLD BUILDER and POLYTRON ONE within the iot² platform.

Rather than introducing experimental technology, the companies are bringing together capabilities that have already been tested in complex government and enterprise environments and transforming them into a repeatable offering for the broader Middle East market.

The integrated platform can support deployments across government, smart cities, utilities, transportation, healthcare, education, tourism, industrial operations, public safety, and critical infrastructure-from individual facilities and campuses to cities and nationwide operating environments.

A Spatial Foundation for AI

AI systems are increasingly being asked to understand and operate within real environments. To do that, they need more than images, alerts or database records. They need a persistent model of space, geometry, movement, relationships and change.

A static 3D model can describe where things were.

A continuously updated 4D Digital Twin can help AI understand what is happening now.

By combining WORLD BUILDER, POLYTRON ONE, LIVE 3D™ and iot² NUCLEUS, the collaboration creates a shared spatial foundation through which human operators and AI systems can observe conditions, interpret events, simulate possible outcomes and coordinate action within the same operational world.

Quote from Othman AlDahash, CEO, iot²

"The next evolution of IoT is not simply connecting more devices - it is understanding the physical world in which those devices operate. By integrating VIZZIO's WORLD BUILDER and POLYTRON ONE into the iot² NUCLEUS platform, we are unifying Digital Twins, agentic visual intelligence, IoT data, and spatial AI within a continuously updated 4D environment. This gives governments and enterprises across the Middle East a powerful operational foundation to manage critical infrastructure, strengthen situational awareness, and make faster, better-informed decisions."

Quote from Anwar Abdullah, DEPUTY CEO of VIZZIO

"A Digital Twin that does not change with the physical world is not truly live - it is an archive. Conventional platforms preserve the scene as it appeared on the day it was scanned. Our patented LIVE 3D™ technology continuously binds live video, sensor data and AI perception to the 3D environment, allowing the digital scene to evolve as reality unfolds. This shift from a fixed 3D model to a continuously updated 4D environment is revolutionary. Our collaboration with iot² has already demonstrated its value across ministries and government agencies, where the technology is being used to build and strengthen mission-critical systems. By productising it for the Middle East, we are turning 4D Digital Twins from an advanced visualization capability into essential operational infrastructure."

Building the 4D LIVE Digital Infrastructure of the Middle East

The launch marks a shift in how Digital Twins are conceived and deployed.

The objective is no longer simply to digitise a physical environment once. It is to maintain a living operational representation that remains connected to the environment as conditions change.

WORLD BUILDER constructs the spatial world. POLYTRON ONE perceives activity across it. LIVE 3D™ keeps the scene synchronised with reality. iot² connects that capability to the infrastructure, systems and customers that operate the Middle East.

Together, the companies are establishing a new foundation for government operations, critical infrastructure and Physical AI-built not around a static model of the past, but a continuously updated representation of the present.
