COLUMBUS - State Representative Monica Robb Blasdel (R-New Waterford) this week presented a resolution from the Ohio House of Representatives to Mark Lamoncha, president and CEO of Humtown Products and a board member of the Ohio Manufacturers' Association, in recognition of being named the U.S. Small Business Administration's 2026 Ohio Small Business Person of the Year.
Lamoncha earned the distinction for his leadership and innovation in manufacturing. Under his direction, Humtown Products has grown from a Columbiana County pattern shop into North America's leading producer of 3D-printed sand cores and molds, helping drive Ohio's reputation as a hub for advanced manufacturing.
"Mark's entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to innovation have created jobs, strengthened our local economy, and showcased the very best of Ohio manufacturing," said Rep. Blasdel. "It was an honor to recognize his accomplishments with a resolution from the Ohio House of Representatives."
The resolution commends Lamoncha for his outstanding business leadership, dedication to advancing manufacturing technologies, and contributions to economic growth in Columbiana County and throughout Ohio.
The U.S. Small Business Administration announced Lamoncha as Ohio's Small Business Person of the Year on April 7. He advanced to national competition as a result of the honor.
