University of New Mexico President Garnett S. Stokes will deliver her annual University-wide address on Monday, March 23, at 11 a.m. in Keller Hall, at UNM's Center for the Arts. The event is similar previous State of the University addresses, except that this year she will be joined by her executive leadership team to discuss the future of UNM.
Titled Opportunities Ahead: A conversation about the future of UNM, Stokes will reflect on what UNM has achieved over the last year. Afterward, she will sit with Executive Vice President for Finance & Administration Teresa Costantinidis, Executive Vice President for Health Sciences & CEO of UNM Health System Dr. Michael Richards, and interim Provost & Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs Barbara Rodriguez to discuss the priorities and opportunities for UNM through the transition to the next presidential administration.
In addition to the in-person event at Keller Hall, the speech will be streamed on the President's website and also on UNM's YouTube channel. The hybrid format allows the president to update the campus community in-person and also those who may be unable to attend.
