AdvaMed® Announces Opening Nominations for its 2026 Lifetime Achievement, Dx Lifetime of Leadership & Service, and the AdvaMed Imaging Röntgen Awards

WASHINGTON-AdvaMed® announced today that nominations for its 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award as well as the AdvaMedDx Lifetime of Leadership & Service Award and the AdvaMed Imaging Röntgen Award are open through April 10. All three of these annual awards will be presented during  The MedTech Conference , Oct.18-21, 2026, in Boston. 

"The AdvaMed® Lifetime Achievement Awardrecognizes leaders who have dedicated their careers to serving patients with medtech advancements that save and enhance lives," saidScott Whitaker, AdvaMed® president and CEO. "Receiving nominations from peers gives the award even greater significance. Medtech leaders know best who before and among them has made a tremendous difference industry-wide. The nominations are always impressive, and the winner is always inspirational."

Nominees for AdvaMed®'s Lifetime Achievement Award should be outstanding individuals who have made significant, prolonged contributions to the medtech industry. Eligible candidates shall have retired from their day-to-day medtech industry responsibilities (and no longer serving as the board chair for their signature employer) for at least one full calendar year.  

Zach Rothstein, Executive Director of AdvaMedDx®, stated, "The AdvaMedDx® Lifetime of Leadership & Service Award was established in 2025 to honor individuals whose significant contributions have advanced patient care, exemplified leadership, and consistently promoted sound diagnostic policy. This new prestigious honor for our diagnostics community is designed to recognize truly transformative leaders who have shaped the diagnostic industry."

Nominees for the AdvaMedDx® Lifetime of Leadership & Service Award should be individuals who have made significant and sustained contributions specifically to the in vitro diagnostics industry.

Patrick Hope, Executive Director of AdvaMed Medical Imaging®, announced that the AdvaMed Imaging® Röntgen Awardhonors Wilheim Conrad Röntgen, Nobel laureate and X-ray discoverer. This award uniquely recognizes a midlevel employee at an AdvaMed member company who has made significant contributions to the medical imaging industry.

Nominees for the Röntgen Award should be a mid-level imaging company employee who has participated in activities that have significantly served not just their company, but that of the entire medical imaging industry.
