VERBUND reduces electricity prices with the Austria tariff

VERBUND, Austria's leading energy company, is reducing electricity prices, delivering tangible relief for households and businesses. The new offer for existing and new VERBUND customers guarantees an electricity price of 9.50 cents excluding VAT (11.40 cents incl. VAT) per kilowatt-hour in the first year with a minimum contract of 12 months. The new "V-Strom ÖSTERREICH" tariff can be taken out easily online. New customers can sign up from 16 February; existing customers can switch from 16 February, and the new prices will apply from 1 March.

Secure supply must be affordable

VERBUND supplies Austria with sustainable energy from 100% Austrian hydropower day and night. A clean energy future must be accessible to all. Because energy must be affordable and remain so. VERBUND is now reducing electricity prices thanks to lower procurement costs.

Attractive electricity price

VERBUND would like to thank existing customers and welcome new customers with the new "V-Strom ÖSTERREICH" tariff: the fixed-price offer is 12.50 cents excl. VAT (15 cents incl. VAT) per kilowatt-hour. Customers receive an attractive discount for a full year, which means an electricity price of 9.50 cents excluding VAT (11.40 cents incl. VAT) per kilowatt-hour guaranteed for a 12-month contract. The basic price is EUR 3.99 excluding VAT (EUR 4.79 incl. VAT) per month. Thanks to the 12-month price guarantee from the start of the contract, customers do not have to worry about rising electricity prices.
