Lowering of the County Flag: Alicia Chapman-Barnes

This is to advise that Commissioner President Reuben B. Collins, II, Esq. ordered the Charles County flag to be lowered to half-staff effective immediately and returned to full-staff on the day of interment September 20, 2025, to honor Denise Alicia Chapman-Barnes of Bryantown, Maryland, who peacefully transitioned to her Eternal Rest on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. Loving wife of Wayne Barnes. She leaves to cherish her memories one sister, Joan Chapman, two brothers, Charles Chapman and Jerry Beason and a host of relatives and friends.
As a respectful reminder, the Charles County flag will remain at half-staff honoring Waldorf Volunteer Fire Chief Dan Stevens and returned to full staff on the date of interment. (TBD)
