Lane and Sidewalk Closures - Dakota Avenue

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026, South Dakota Avenue will be restricted to one lane between Tenth Street and Ninth Street. The east sidewalk will be closed and parking will be limited. Pedestrian traffic will be detoured to the west sidewalk.

Landwehr Construction will be doing crane work. This work is expected to be completed and traffic control removed by 1 p.m.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Sidewalk Closure & Parking Restriction - Bahnson Avenue

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026, the west sidewalk along South Bahnson Avenue between 26th Street and Oak Street will be closed. Parking along this area will be restricted. Pedestrian traffic will be detoured to the east sidewalk.

MidAmerican Energy will be installing a new gas line. This work is expected to be completed and traffic control removed by the end of the day on Monday, August 17, 2026.
