Saothair Announces Recapitalization of Air Products & Controls
Wayne, PA (June 2, 2026) - Saothair Capital Partners, LLC ("Saothair") is pleased to announce the successful recapitalization of its portfolio company Air Products & Controls Inc. ("APC" or the "Company"). The new financing was provided by Capital Southwest Corporation (NASDAQ: CSWC). The transaction refinances APC's existing capital structure while returning capital to investors and providing incremental funding to support the Company's next phase of growth. Since Saothair acquired APC in July 2025, the Company has effectively completed the carve-out from its previous owner, establishing itself as a fully independent, standalone platform. APC has also completed the consolidation of its manufacturing footprint from two facilities into one and has begun continuous improvement initiatives across the business. The recapitalization reflects that progress and positions the Company to pursue its strategic priorities going forward. McGuireWoods LLP provided legal counsel and Candlewood Partners acted as financial advisor to Saothair on the refinancing.
